40 moons, 40 suns

Cover for the novel «40 moons, 40 suns», which is the maceration time of ratafia, the liquor at the epicenter of the story that the author Josep Solà sets in the 19th century. The cover conceptually and physically transfers the meaning of the title itself, thus offering a dark part (night) and a light part (day), like the forty days that ratafia liquor macerates at sun and serene. With a simple cut the cover allows to formally represent the moon/sun duality, thanks to a double cover precisely fitted and cut to match the lower and upper content.Simple finishes are used according to the final cost of the book.
